The NoMad Design District, NYC’s fastest-growing design hub boasting the largest concentration of independent furniture and lighting showrooms, came alive during NYCxDESIGN. A dynamic lineup of events, exhibitions and experiences celebrated creativity and innovation. Talks, collaborations, and the grand opening of new showrooms transformed the district into a hub of energy and inspiration all through the week.

Many of the district’s brands also debuted new collections fresh from Salone del Mobile, bringing the latest in global design directly to New York City and offering a preview of the designs to come. As one of the city’s most vibrant design destinations, NoMad offered visitors and industry insiders an opportunity to explore fresh ideas, discover new talent, and connect with the future of design.

During the week, showrooms welcomed design professionals to explore collections and discover each brand’s unique offerings and opportunities. On the evening of Friday, May 15th, NoMad hosted an exclusive evening where design professionals wandered from one curated showroom to the next. With so many brands participating, each showroom was a singular reflection of the neighborhood's unique energy. Some were reserved for an invite-only guest list, and others were open to industry professionals, ensuring a wealth of discoveries.
