Designed by Karim Rashid for KARE, the Erosia Lamp is a bold expression of movement, color, and emotion. With its fluid, abstract silhouette and high-gloss pink finish, the lamp functions as both a lighting object and a sculptural statement. Dimmable and dynamic, it allows light to shift with mood and moment, creating atmospheres that feel alive and personal.
For me, design is about flow - of energy, emotion, and experience. The Flow Lamp embodies this idea through a continuous, organic form and a vibrant color that radiates optimism and sensuality. I wanted to create a piece that feels alive in a space, not static. Light is deeply emotional, and with dimmability, the user becomes part of the design process, shaping their own atmosphere. Flow is more than a lamp, it’s a moment of joy, movement, and futuristic expression.
