SOLL is a sculptural table lamp informed by the bold geometry of Mexican modernist architecture. Composed of volcanic stone, hand-crafted mulberry paper, and powder-coated steel, the piece explores a dynamic tension between weight and air, texture and light, softness and solidity, movement and stillness, and tradition and modernity.
Both functional and contemplative, SOLL integrates a flower vase into its form, inviting daily ritual and quiet interaction. More than a lighting object, it becomes a small stage for reflection — an intimate presence within the space.
Bringing together contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship, SOLL reads as a material assemblage shaped by memory, movement, and cross-cultural dialogue. Stone, fiber, and steel converge in a composition that feels at once grounded and ethereal, architectural and deeply personal.
My work explores objects as cultural portals — artifacts that hold memory, spark curiosity, and act as quiet beacons of knowledge. I see design as a balance between poetry and production: forms that are functional and precise, yet emotionally resonant and conceptually alive.
For SHINE, this philosophy takes shape through lighting as both object and atmosphere. Light is not only a utility, but a medium for emotion, ritual, and presence.
My practice often brings together craft, industrial process, and material experimentation to create works that feel tactile, grounded, and quietly transformative. Across mass-produced products and collectible pieces alike, I seek to create objects that do more than serve a function — they tell stories across cultures, invite contemplation, and bring a sense of wonder to everyday life.
