For this year’s Ode to NYC poster campaign, themed around diversity and inclusive design, I present a composition of a pixelated red apple formed from countless smaller apples, each rendered in a unique visual style.
From a distance, the image appears as a single red apple—an enduring emblem of New York City, “The Big Apple.” Yet on closer view, the individuality of each apple emerges, symbolizing the distinct voices and approaches of designers across the city. Collectively, these elements form a vibrant whole, celebrating both the power of individuality and the strength of unity within New York’s creative community.
