The Brownstone is inspired by New York’s iconic brownstone buildings and the stylish Black and brown people that have inhabited them for generations.

It’s also an ode to Black hair and beauty as a means of creative expression from Black women of the African Diaspora. This piece honors the notion that NYC will always be the top destination for diverse people who bring culture, style and beauty to the city.
